However, it wasn't just dolphins that were seen a tour guide and a group of tourists were surprised by a rare moment.
In a video uploaded on Friday, 5th April 2025, to social media, a boat carrying tour guides and tourists in Bali recorded the sight of whales in the waters of Lovina, Buleleng, Bali.
In the video circulating, a giant whale is seen surfacing in the middle of the ocean, not far from the tour boat carrying a group of tourists.
The phenomenon of whales appearing in Lovina's waters is quite rare.
Usually, these waters are better known as habitats for dolphins, which often appear in the morning.
The video, uploaded to the TikTok account @gordobalitours, was titled "What a lucky day for us in Lovina during swimming with dolphins activities, this beautiful big mammal just showing up."
The video was accompanied by comments such as, "Is that a humpback whale?" and "Lovina's new attraction - 'Whale Tour'

According to Goodstats.id, among the many countries in the world, Indonesia is one of the special ones because it is a habitat for these rare marine mammals. Konservasi Indonesia (KI) recorded the presence of 472 whale sharks in five different locations across Indonesia.
This number is a starting point for KI to strengthen conservation efforts and develop sustainable ecotourism, while involving the community in preserving this iconic species.
